This afternoon in art we are using viewfinders to pinpoint different parts of a pattern.

Our Sports Crew have been hard at work today during lunchtime to make sure all the children had a fun, safe and enjoyable environment to play. Also rocking their new jumpers!

Learning through play in our provision. Over the last few weeks we have been working hard on sharing, taking turns and how to react when things don't go our way. Board games have proved a great way to encourage this learning.

Free choice play across a range of our activities.

Last week we began learning about Harvest. We discussed what we were thankful for and what happens at Harvest time. In preparation for the festival we made fruit from clay which is now on display in the hall.

Testing conductors and insulators in science.

Today in PSHE we have been discussing our different opinions on a range of topics. We have learnt that people can have different opinions and still be friends.

In Maths, we have been ordering numbers up to 10

Our trip to Gospel Hall to see the Bible Exhibition. Lots of learning about the origins of the Bible through different workshops. Well done Year 6!

Experience day in English. The Children explored how the digestive system works by completing an experiment. Ask them about it.

In science today we have been finding out what happens to shadows when we move the light source to different angles.

During our experience day today we have thought about how our comfort toys would help us to feel safer when we are frightened just like Lucy's pig puppet.
