We hit the mystery prize in the attendance race this week! To celebrate, we had a special treat of homemade lemonade today. It was delicious, and it gave us the perfect chance to practise our instructions for English while we made it!

Year 1 had a "berry" good time teaching Miss Kay how to make a jam sandwich! After spotting "bossy" verbs and clear steps in examples, they’re ready to write their own instructions.

Year 2 reader of the week! This week our reader of the week is Laiyla. Laiyla deserves this award every week for consistently reading every week since September more than once.

Lunchtime learning! The children have been busy exploring the wonders of magnetism during their lunch break, putting their scientific enquiry skills to the test in the fresh air.

Maths Oracy in Action! This week, we’ve focused on "how" we solve problems, not just finding the answer. It’s been wonderful to hear the children use their "maths talk" to explain their reasoning and share strategies with confidence!

This week, our budding artists dived into the vibrant world of Pop Art. We took inspiration from the legendary Andy Warhol to create our very own donut masterpieces.

Our Geography Show It! This week we used our Oracy skills and performed our Geography Show It. We did a News Report to show our sticky knowledge of everything we have learnt in our Local Area - Mill Hill topic.

In Maths we have been learning about Capacity (full, nearly full, how many cupfuls) and understanding numbers 6,7 and 8.
