Cracking Kindness from Mill Hill Pet Supplies!
Science Week: Bubble Fun! Reception learned that bubbles are stretchy, spherical, and rainbow-coloured. We also explored the science of making them using water, washing-up liquid, and glycerine.
Beep beep! Pip the Paramedic visited Reception this week to teach us all about how healthcare heroes help our community. The children loved climbing into the ambulance and testing out the horn!
In RE, we have been learning about The Last Supper, we learnt that Jesus had a meal with his 12 disciples. The children broke their bread saying ‘this is my body’ to remember Jesus and drank (juice) saying ‘this is my blood’ to forgive all sins.
Well done to our stars of the week last week!
In Maths, we have been recapping our learning of part part whole, 1 less and Odd and Even! Reception have been using fantastic oracy extending their sentences.
Well done Ariah our PE star of the week!
This week these children have shown our Christian values so we celebrated with hot chocolate and biscuits. Well done to them!
Congratulations to Lola, who is our Speller of the Week for this week!
Jaymee-Leigh is this weeks speller of the week because she tries so hard and puts 100% into her home learning to ensure she achieves full marks.
Great fun in PE playing football rounders this afternoon! It was brilliant to see the children working together, showing off their kicking skills, and cheering each other on. With impressive home runs and plenty of smiles!
