Today in maths we have been using equipment to represent numbers up to 1000.

The infants enjoying their ALWAYS play this morning.

This morning we have started our Move and Learn sessions with Nathan from Blackburn Rovers.

Today in science we have been experimenting with light. Ask us all about what we have learnt!

In maths today we have been making 1000 using the base ten equipment. Ask us how many hundreds make 1000. Practice counting in hundreds with us at home.

This morning in Maths, we were using our tens frames to represent numbers up to 10.

Junior Jam today. Mrs Harrison was very impressed!

Year 2 08.09.23

Oh what a fabulous Friday morning we have had in Year 2. We are so lucky to have Junior Jam come into our class to teach us music, computing and Spanish.

We are now learning Spanish!

On Fridays, we are very fortunate to have lessons with our specialists teachers from Junior Jam. We are starting our morning with computing. We are learning to use 'live loops' on Garage Band.

Our art topic this term is textiles. We had so much fun today investigating dip dye. What super artists year 2 are! Swipe to see the end result of our fabulous creations.
