We had a jam packed afternoon in year 6. We have been using forwards and backwards sketching skills to draw still images. It was lovely to draw to some calm and relaxing music, helping us practice our mindfulness techniques.
In art today we have used a view finder to concentrate on certain parts of a piece of art. We then sketched using techniques such as stippling and hatching.
Multiplication and Division in Maths. This morning we have used counters to make equal groups. We then used repeated addition and multiplication facts.
Art pen party- exploring different art tools.
Fun in our new role play area.
Ordering and sequencing time.
Well done to our award winners this week - 27.2.25
Working hard in the maths area.
Odea made a sculpture family.
We LOVED our most recent class novel Skellig. Ask us all about it!
This afternoon we have played an interactive game in Science where we guessed whether electrical appliances used mains electricity or batteries.
In Maths today we have been looking at dividing 3 digit numbers using a practical method.
