We have been talking about how to improve our art skills in Reception. We are using drawing pencils to draw before we paint this week. We have images up from the books we have read this half term to help us with our observational skills.

We have been making lanterns for Chinese New Year in provision.

Well done to our street-dancing stars this week! 23.1.25

This week’s science experiment was to be able to investigate which components affect the bulb in a circuit.

In English, we have been sequencing the events of our class story Farmer Duck! We have started to look at time adverbials to support us with this.

In Maths, we are continuing to look at shape and we are now learning about 2D-shapes. Today, we have grouped the shapes and put them into the correct hoops. We will be continuing this next week in our provision!

Fantastic work in PE this morning. We have been focusing on jumping and landing safely, 2 different rolls and rolling a ball.

Year 5 have absolutely loved exploring space with Frank Cottrell-Boyce's 'Cosmic'!

Today we continued our work on capacity. We have been comparing capacity.

Yesterday, we had an assembly with year 6 all about online safety and making good choices.
