This afternoon we got to go and engage in Prayer Experience Day. The children said that they found this fun, exciting, calming and relaxing. It was lovely to reflect and see the different ways in which we can worship.

All ready for the Year 5/6 Dodgeball Festival at St Bede's.

This morning we have joined Kooth’s well-being support webinar with other primary schools on Blackburn. We have been given lots of useful strategies to help up with our mental well-being.

We squeezed in a visit to the aquarium and the ancient Egyptian exhibition before heading back to school.

Year 5 are having a blast exploring the wonders of the universe at the planetarium!

Continuing to work on our dodgeball skills in PE with Sam.

Sequencing and discussing the Nativity story.

Making and describing shape pictures.

Finding squares and rectangles in class.

Working on the composition of numbers.

Fun popping the bubbles.

Along with many other schools and churches within the Blackburn with Darwen Diocese we have joined the year of prayer. We are very much looking forward to what's to come next.
