A visit from Kaitlyn our veterinary nurse.

Learning about the water cycle in science.

This afternoon we are carrying out research into different animals and their habitats as part of our monitoring devices project in DT week.

We are continuing to develop our throwing, passing and catching skills in the PE lesson this morning.

We have been so lucky to go on two local walks this week. On Tuesday we went out out looking at the human and physical features of Mill Hill for our Geography topic. Here we are on our Science walk yesterday looking for wooden materials outdoors.

Today in Music with Junior Jam, the children are being taught how to play the ukulele. We've been focusing on the correct way to hold it and practising strumming the strings to create a melody.

Enjoying our first Gymnastics lesson with Ria.

Today we had a wonderful visit from Pip the Paramedic. We saw lots of different pieces of equipment and we were even able to have a turn inside the ambulance. We have lots of pictures to post we hope you enjoy them.

Our new topic in Geography is the United Kingdom. We have been exploring different resources, such as Google Earth, maps, globes, and images, to help us gain knowledge about our country and where it is located in the world.

In Maths we have been measuring using objects. We talked about using a suitable measuring tool based on the item being measured. This was fun and we gained lots of new skills around measuring accurately.

Experimenting with a roller in art.

Conscience alley - learning about Lila's inner thoughts from our book 'The Firework-Maker's Daughter' by Philip Pullman.
