Thank you to the Deaf Village for visiting our class today. They taught the class sign language and answered the questions that our children had. It was such an informative session and one that children will be able to take through their lives.

This morning we had a visit from the people from Deaf Village as part of Deaf Awareness week. We thoroughly enjoyed it and learnt some sign language. Ask us to sign our name.

Some of reception had a visit from the dentist yesterday. We are doing a good job at looking after our teeth.

Our Year 3s are so fortunate as they have visited Blackburn Rovers today. The children got to explore the changing rooms, walk through the tunnel, and even play on the pitch. It was amazing!

Continuing our people who help us theme, we had a visit from PC Wilcock and PC Greenhalgh from Blackburn Police. The children enjoyed experimenting with all the clothing and equipment. We also got to sit in he car and turn the lights and sirens on.
