The girls had a great day representing St. Aidan's at the RE Pupil Conference yesterday. They enjoyed making Lego models in response to Bible stories and answering many Big Questions about them.

After half term we have an artist coming in to help us create St Aidan’s own version of the Big Frieze. Reception are working on the Creation section. We have been coming up with ideas for it today.

RE- Friendship: Making friendship bracelets and cards in provision.

We visited our school church this afternoon to learn why Christians see it as special. We focused on the pulpit, font, altar, lectern, crosses, and the Bible.

In RE we have been learning about Jesus’ special friends. We read the story Jesus Calls Peter and then made a boat to go recall the story in provision.

Our RE lesson today all about the Easter story and other major world religions beliefs about who Jesus was.

This week, Mrs Mohamed taught us all about Eid! It was interesting to find out about a different religion and their celebrations. Mrs Mohamed gave us all a treat and we said Eid Mubarak!
