Change of venue for this morning’s Children’s Literacy Festival trip—we went to Mill Hill Library instead! Year 5 had a fantastic time with award-winning poet Dommy B, whose energetic poetry captivated the children. Ask them about their favourite poem! 🎤

SHINE DINE - Zoe and Cath have awarded these children our shine dine table of the week. They have shown excellent manners and really modelled great expectations of our slightly improved shine dine routines this week. Well done boys and well deserved!

Today in junior jam we are crime scene investigators. We are currently creating our profiles. 💾

We’ve had the most brilliant morning! As a reward for always making the right choices, the children earned a well-deserved class water fight. They had an absolute blast splashing around!

We swapped pencils for drama, debate, and imagination today! We tackled tough maths problems, built stories from a single picture, and acted out solids, liquids, and gases in science. A brilliant day of learning without pens by all. 🎭

Year 5 looked a bit different last week while Year 6 did SATs. Huge shout-out to our class for being so resilient and helpful during the routine change! We celebrated with a park trip and well-earned ice lollies 🍦 A super week for a super group!

We have officially turned the final page of our class novel, The Wizards of Once by Cressida Cowell. From Xar’s wild schemes to Wish’s bravery, the children have been absolutely gripped by the world of Badness and Iron.

We welcomed the NSPCC today for their 'Speak Out, Stay Safe' assembly. Pupils learned how to identify trusted adults and share worries. Our children showed great maturity during these vital sessions, and we are very proud of their engagement.

Know It Week - We’ve been busy testing out our sticky knowledge. We did a google quiz which marked our answers as we went so we all got instant feedback on our learning.

Art - Last week we created tessellating patterns by making our own shapes. Once we had completed these patterns we used our own colours to continue the pattern.

Well done to our Year 5/6 boys at tonight’s basketball! Playing 4 schools, the team showed amazing teamwork and spirit with a win, a draw, and a narrow loss. We’re so proud of their resilience and grit on the court. Great job, everyone!
