Fun at Chess Club!

School reopens tomorrow for our Summer term. Breakfast club starts at 7:45am and the main gates open at 8:40am. We're excited to see you all looking smart and ready to learn in your school shoes or all black trainers, proudly wearing your ALWAYS badges.

Clubs are now available to book for the summer term. All clubs finish at 4:15pm. Places are limited.

Let's Go Sing has started!

Global Trade and Food - Today we looked at what is meant by an ‘import’ and an ‘export’. Using a regular shopping list we traced where the products came from and the journey they make to our supermarkets. Well done year 6!

5k Walk to raise money for Rossendale Hospice

St Aidan’s Ambassadors excelled themselves tonight after planting flowers outside of our local Spar. They really tidied the planters up! We are so proud. Big thank you to the manager at the Spar who rewarded the children too.

We are ever so proud of you Year 6! As a way to celebrate the end of SAT’s week, they will all enjoy a trip to Junction 4 Skatepark on Tuesday 16th May.

Today, our Aidan's Ambassadors were crafting with the residents of Spring Bank Court today. The residents commented on how polite and wonderful our children are. We really enjoyed it!

Well done to EVERYONE who made crowns fit for a king. It was such a tough decision!

Snowball Disco

Remembrance Service 2022

On Thursday 11th November Year 6 hosted the Remembrance service at St Aidan's church to remember those who sacrificed their lives in war so that we can live in peace and harmony. It was a thought provoking service. Year 6 made us very proud. It was wonderful to listen to them sing beautifully to the rest of the school and their families. Year 6 World War 2 visit to Blackburn Museum

This week Year 6 visited Blackburn Museum to learn about how Blackburn was impacted by World War 2. We were able to look at many artefacts and use a wide range of sources to enhance our understanding about the Homefront in Blackburn.
