Well done Natalia our reader of the week!
Well done to our PE stars this week - 27.1.26
Geography show it - It was wonderful to welcome parents and carers into school yesterday to look at our geography learning. We were able to show our mountain fact file and share our sticky knowledge with those who were able to make it.
Science - We used word hippo to find the meaning of new words. We used the translate tool on the website to translate these words into own languages.
We explored the five senses this week through fun, hands-on activities! It was a fantastic way to bring our human body topic to life.
3D Shapes - Lesson 3: The Classroom Scavenger Hunt. To wrap up the week, we became "Shape Detectives." We searched the classroom to find hidden geometry in our everyday environment.
3D Shapes - Lesson 2: Classification and Sorting. Once we could name our shapes, we began sorting them into groups.
3D Shapes - Lesson 1: Identification & The Pizza Party. We started with a "Pizza Party" to help us identify shapes in a fun way!
Today in English, we are continuing our work on the short animated film, 'Feast.' One of our objectives was learning how to enhance our descriptions using relative clauses to add extra detail for the reader!
Olivia is this weeks star reader . Olivia wows us every week with multiple reads on the weekend showing us her love of learning.
Joud was Reception's reader of the week last week. Such a Superstar!
We kicked off our watercolour topic in Art, practising colour mixing and brush control before we begin looking at specific artists.
