Thank you to Reverend Alice for leading our Worship Team meeting this lunchtime. We have been planning our Outdoor Prayer Day for later this month.

We are looking forward to reading our new books at home that we received today at the Literature Festival. Thank you Christina Gabbitas.

What a special start to this half term for our Year 5 children. Mrs Moss has managed to arrange a visit to Mill Hill library to hear a story and meet the infamous Christina Gabitas, a famous Blackburn author.

This afternoon in art we have been using viewfinders to pinpoint different brush strokes we can use.

Well done Ronnie for working hard in the holidays.

Exploring sharing in maths.

Carson is our reader of the week.

This morning in maths we have been looking at fractions. We have learnt what a fraction is and how to add and subtract fractions from each other and from a whole.

Nana is our reader of the week this week! Nana has been reading regularly at home and has been having her journal signed! Keep it up!

In Geography, we have been looking at maps and globes and discussing the difference. We then linked it to the previous topic of the United Kingdom and located it on the map. Finally, we put the continents on the world map and sang the song!

Our Year 2 artists got creative with sgraffito today, layering paint to reveal exciting designs by scratching through the top coat. What super artists you are Year 2!

What a lovely Friday we have had in Reception today.
