Making gingerbread men.

Year 1 had a fantastic morning at the BRIC for our Dance, Gymnastics and Games festival. I am sure the children will tell you all about it!

Well done to the children who attended the Children's University graduation on Saturday! A special mention for Krista who got a Fellowship Award for earning 1000 hours!

Decorating our outdoor area.

We had fun outdoors yesterday.

Using our 5 and a bit method independently in provision.

In Maths, our topic is money. This week we have been recognising coins and notes. We have been playing games and pretending to buy items with money to support our understanding of its value.

Today, Mrs Greenwood shared an amazing piece of family history with us! Did you know her Great Grandad James Whitehead, actually played football for England?

What a wonderful day at Liverpool World Museum! We began with an Ancient Greek workshop. Then we experienced a Brilliant Bugs lesson. The day continued with a dinosaur and evolution walk and an exploration of the aquarium.

Having fun programming the micro it’s in DT. The children where able to make the microbit flash intermittently, play a tune and write a message. It was great to see the children using their computing knowledge to programme.

In PSED we have been discussing growing up.

Fantastic show tonight Year 6! Let's hope England can put on a show tonight; we doubt it will be as good as yours!
