Year 1 visited church to learn about baptism with Reverend Alice. We staged a ceremony with Baby Lily, exploring the font and the roles involved. Lily even received a certificate and candle! Thank you, Reverend Alice for making our learning fun!

A lovely worship today led by Rev Alice all about yeast and how we can all grow in God’s likeness. We enjoyed lots of reflections and singing.

Year 6 visited the church to celebrate the centenary of Bishop William Temple. We explored his inspiring legacy and passion for sharing God’s word. The children represented us beautifully, showing great respect and asking insightful questions.

To celebrate 100 years of Blackburn Diocese, we visited the church for Blackpool Beach Mission activities. Huge thanks to Rev. Alice for hosting us! Each child is coming home with a piece of rock to share the love.

Our RE topic is ‘Why is the Church a special place for Christians?’ This week, we explored the church to identify key objects and their symbolism. The children loved the matching challenge! Next, we’ll visit other faiths' places of worship.

Yesterday, the Worship Group joined Rev Alice for a trip to Mill Hill. The children worked hard planting flowers at the community centre, brightening the local area and representing the school brilliantly.
