Archbishop of York Visits St Aidans' for Lord's Prayer Tour

It was wonderful to host the first of many Sunday worships in school today. It was great to see members of the school, the church and the wider community in school to celebrate and reflect on the way God is present during the harvest period.

During Harvest worship we were all invited to create a piece of work which reflected what would give thanks to God for. We had a range of different things, from plants, planets, trees, wildlife, men, women and life in all its forms.

Reverend Alice invited members of the school, church and wider community to bring forward their harvest donations. These will be taken and donated by school to the Billy project on Friday 3rd October.

A huge thank you to all the school, church and community members who came to our harvest worship in school this morning. We had a wonderful time celebrating with you all.

Ambassadors group have been out into the community advertising our school Harvest worship. We took flyers and hand outs and left them in a range of different shops. We hope you can all make it to our Harvest Worship in school.

Thank you to Reverend Alice for joining us in our first Worship Team meeting of the new school year. We started to plan our harvest assembly, which is a time for our school to come together and celebrate gratitude and community.

This week we have spent time at church as part of the week of prayer.

Today we have visited church and had the pleasure of completing various activities at different stations. This was to support us in prayer for different causes and reasons. Thank you to Reverend Alice and Church for hosting this special event.

Yesterday, Year 2 visited the church for the Global Week of Prayer. They enjoyed different stations focusing on themes like peace, community, and healing. A big thank you to Reverend Alice and the church for hosting a wonderful event.
