Geography: Exploring Zambia. We recapped the continents and oceans before locating Zambia on our globes and atlases. The children discovered it is part of Africa. We look forward to comparing Zambia with our local area, Mill Hill, over the coming weeks.

We had a blast at our church "Beach Mission"! Pupils explored Bishop William Temple’s legacy through sandcastle building, circus skills, and postcard writing. Huge thanks to Rev. Alice and Paula for a wonderful afternoon.

Our RE topic is ‘Why is the Church a special place for Christians?’ This week, we explored the church to identify key objects and their symbolism. The children loved the matching challenge! Next, we’ll visit other faiths' places of worship.

Our finished DT salads. What fantastic creativity and resilience the children have shown throughout the week. Each child met the design criteria of creating a delicious, healthy and colourful salad.

Today we investigated salads by tasting and reviewing Caesar and Greek options. We are proud of the children for trying new foods and selecting ingredients for their own recipes. We look forward to sharing our final salads with you tomorrow.

This afternoon we learnt how to cut safely using the bridge and claw position. We used play dough to create a tomato and cucumber to prepare us for cutting our own chosen fruit and vegetables tomorrow.
