Year 2 have been exploring arrays to understand multiplication and division. Using counters and pictures, they worked brilliantly to create equal groups and link them to number sentences. Well done, Year 2!

Today we hunted for a missing Bog Baby (eventually found in the office!) and created our own versions of the creature. A fantastic and fun start to our new book!

We’ve started designing and building our own vehicles. The children loved sawing dowels for axles, attaching wheels, and painting them to match their designs. Look out for photos of the finished products!

The children thoroughly enjoyed creating their wheeled vehicles this week. It was amazing seeing their imagination at work! We raced this morning and Perez had the fastest car—well done Perez!

Our DT Project: Wheeled Vehicles! This week, we kicked off our project by researching and designing vehicles. We even took a local walk to survey the most popular car types and colors. Check out our work in action!

Jungle Yoga in PE After warming up with Touchdown, we used breathing techniques to hold still animal poses. To finish, groups invented their own unique yoga moves.

Year 2 have had the most wonderful morning turning our classroom into a cinema and enjoying popcorn too! It’s the perfect way to celebrate all the hard work the children have put in this term.

PRICKLY HAY NATIVITY: What a fantastic show! The children were absolutely amazing for their final nativity. Huge thanks to all parents for supporting us (and for your patience with the morning's technical hiccups). We are so proud of everyone's hard work!
